Direct Message
A direct message (DM) is a feature able to send a picture or message to several people at once. “Send me a Direct Message saying what you feel about me!” For a long time DM was the initial used to refer to direct marketing. Since the advent of social networks, the initial also refers to direct messages used in the context of community management.

Social Network
Human beings are social animals. A social network is defined as a chain of individuals and their personal connections. Social networking applications make use of the associations between individuals to further facilitate the interaction with other people. To boost visibility on social media one must post more frequently.

Interaction
More posts equal more impressions. Interaction is communication or direct involvement with someone or something. When you connect with your audience emotionally you will drive more engagement. The psychology of the public space and the way it is geographically built aid interaction of people to objects and to other people.

Public space
A public space refers to an area or place that is open and accessible to all peoples, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, age or socio-economic level. By definition public space should belong to the public. In the 21st century, some even consider the virtual spaces available through the internet as a new type of public space that develops interaction and social mixing.

Ordinary people in general; the community. A group of people having common interests or characteristics specifically: the group at which a particular activity or enterprise aims. Public writing is the term used for publications written with the purpose of expressing ideas to a target audience. Public writing is a message that someone expresses through writing and is revealed publicly.

Writing
The act or process of one who writes: such as the act or art of forming visible letters or characters. The written work, such as stories or poems, of one person or a group of people. “He teaches creative writing at the university.” Knowing how to write a letter, an email, a direct message, is a fundamental skill you’ll use in business and personal relationships to communicate information, goodwill, or just affection.
