In the years 1942-1967, FDB, the cooperative movement in Denmark produced a series of inexpensive and functional furniture, which played a large part in the expansion of modern Danish design. The originals have become sought-after vintage objects and since 2013 several models have been successfully redesigned.

    In 1925, the PH lamp was presented for the first time at the Paris universal exhibition. On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of this icon, Thomas Dickson, author of Danish Design, tells us the story of the lamp and its creator, the Danish architect Poul Henningsen.
