Henri’s Dream
Exhibition
Henri’s Dream
Past: February 9 → March 16, 2013
What could be more daunting than taking as a starting point for a thematic exhibition, The Two Sources of Morality and Religion (1932) by Henri Bergson? And yet, the work of Bergson is really radical and extremely relevant today.
The artists invited for this exhibition have been brought together because they clearly share common visions with his work. The power of intelligence, the inevitability of death, and the shift of the unexpected: three concepts against which, according to Bergson, nature fights and religion is based. Three “virtues” that form the singularity of the works presented here and the reason for their gathering in pack.
