Basket-maker Joe Hogan invites you to come and see the work he is creating during his residency at the CCI. Joe Hogan has been making baskets from local willow at Loch na Fooey in Galway since 1978. As well as making traditional baskets of the highest quality, such as the creel, Hogan is an accomplished artist and collaborated with Joanne Hynes for a headdress sported at London Fashion Week 2011. His work was shown in our recent exhibition Side by Side : Irish Design 2015.
