Monique Orsini has been constantly supported by important masters of the period like Olivier Debré, Pierre Soulage, Karel Appel, Ben Lindstrom et Chu Teh Chun. Their works will take her in the commitment of light, senses, colors and material.

She is conscious of space and light in her unstructured artistic practice. Her work leaves visible and achieved the painter’s sensitivity with the artwork; the gesture is then decrypted, the sense of color is exalted, the rhythm given to the canvas is like a natural beat. Further and radiating lines give a consistency to the painting.

The language of the artist appropriates the natural elements; natural essence is a primary concept in Monica Orsini work. References accessible to the wind, the inconsistency of clouds or flowing water, are unexpected factors but controlled by gravity. The artist stands in the same way before the canvas: the gravity allows movement and a perfect harmony with the elements.
