Parades
Festival de performances
Past: October 19 → 22, 2016
This year, FIAC strenghtens its support of performative practices and exchanges between contemporary art disciplines by inaugurating a new festival, Parades for FIAC, which will be held in various emblematic Parisian locations near the Grand Palais. This programme investigates intersections between music, contemporary dance, performance and poetry. It presents a series of experiments in the form of live actions that explore new avenues in the field of artistic performance.
For the first time, the Grand Palais opens the doors of the Salon d’Honneur, which leads to the Palais de la Découverte, from Wednesday 19 October to Saturday 22 October from 6.30 pm onwards. The performances allow the public to rediscover the rooms of this museum through various circuits combining fiction and scientific realities. In the various courtyards of the Louvre, a programme focusing on contemporary dance will be held during FIAC week. Performances are also presented inside the Grand Palais and opposite the Petit Palais, on the Avenue Winston Churchill.
Free access subject to availability, unless stated otherwise in the programme.
