Past: May 18 → June 22, 2013
Eva Hober Gallery is pleased to announce you the new exhibition of Pauline Bastard. A new project Les Etats de la matière and new works are exhibited for her second solo show at the gallery.
To buy a house in Saint-Yaguen (Landes, France) for a token euro is at the origin of this project. Because of the house’s demolition, the artist free all its elements. It’s the possibility for the house in Saint-Yaguen to occupy new spaces whithout limits, nature and city plannings, as forests, fields and service areas. This union between spaces and house’s elements is still on progress.
Pauline Bastard was born in 1982, lives and works in Paris. Back from a residency in Los Angeles (18th street Art center, Santa Monica), she is now in residency in Barcelona (Bar Project) until May 2013. Her work is being shown at the Sao Paulo’s Biennal until the 30th of June 2013 (Iminencia Das Poeticas).
