Trafficking the Unknown, the exhibition of the fifth edition of the Reiffers Initiatives Prize, brings together the work of eight artists from the emerging contemporary scene selected by the Reiffers Initiatives artistic committee, which includes figures from the art and culture world, and is staged by curator Bernard Blistène.

The Reiffers Initiatives Prize rewards the career of an emerging talent from the young contemporary scene. Announced at the end of the opening reception, the winning artist will receive a grant of €10,000 as well as a commissioned museum work that will join the foundation’s collection. This year, the artistic committee introduces a new feature: a special mention, endowed with €5,000, which may be awarded to one of the artists.

Curated by: Bernard Blistène, Honorary Director of the National Museum of Modern Art — Centre Pompidou.
