Past: April 12 → 13, 2012
As a preliminary to the opening on April 19 at 20.00, the Palais de Tokyo is partly opening up during 2 days and will offer an intense, fast-motion, hallucinatory glimpse of the energy that is going to be invested in the Palais de Tokyo over the next few years.
28 hours of events, concerts, performances, conferences and shows by artists such as Christian Marclay, Olivier Saillard, Gwenaël Morin, Hajnal Nemeth, Matthew Herbert and Lucas Abela will take up residence at the Palais de Tokyo! Fever pitch at 9pm, jolts at midnight, hallucinations in the dead of night, then a beautiful dawn… Enjoy these moments as you take a behind-the-scenes look at the Palais de Tokyo’s transformation as it prepares to open its exhibition spaces for La Triennale “Intense proximity”, which will be setting up at the same time. All accessible areas (almost half of the site), windows, stairways, cinemas, mezzanines, the Saut du loup, the Little Palais, the restaurant, auditoriums, concourses, walkways, offices and meeting rooms will be open to the public.
