Youri Lenquette — Punk Nuggets, Original Artyfacts 1977-1985
Past: November 19, 2013 → February 22, 2014
Youri Lenquette has always been close. In the paranoid universe of back stages and of band entourage, he arrived where the rest performed a somehow brutal retreat. As if he had released waves, or had emitted ultra sounds showing the musicians he was one of them.

David Lyle — Bits and Pieces
Past: September 13 → November 9, 2013
David Lyle gives a portrayal of a triumphant state walking back out victorious from the WWII and tending to spread over its universal model of happiness. And that’s what photography taught us. Lyle distorts the meaning by putting incoherent and contradictory elements from his personal archives with a particular attention to details.

Maria Tomé — La Main de Dieu
Past: May 23 → July 27, 2013
Maria Tomé is an artist who works with images. She creates stories in order to extract the staging of the situations. More interested in guiding our gaze than in emphasizing the narrative, her work highlights the object’s unconscious. She decides to “reveal” rather than to create, drawing us into her alternative vision of everyday life.

Jean Faucheur — Sans Titre
Past: April 6 → May 18, 2013
Since a decade, Jean Faucheur pioneer of group experiences, felt the need to return to a more personal manner by constraining himself to a studio work, i.e. paradoxically within and out of the walls. Street requires a quickness of progress; studio grants a freedom and the ease to make.

John Crash Matos — Study in Watercolors
Past: April 14 → June 2, 2012
Do we still have to present John Crash Matos, this street artist pioneer born in Bronx in 1961 ? Addict Galerie presents “Study in Watercolors”, a selection of preliminary studies, and brings to light the sketch work of graffiti, often relegated to the background to a mode of expression sometimes assimilated to a spontaneous blowout of the imagination.

Thomas Fiebig — La Grande Bouffe
Past: February 4 → March 31, 2012
Thomas Fiebig doesn’t cease to assert the influence of urban art on his painting. Like him, street artists have the credit of denouncing the sudden and permanent destruction of his environment under the pretence of modernisation. He sets his free and deconstructing eyes on what the city exposes, with the purpose of digging up a deeper truth over its deceptive evidences.

L’art urbain… du mur à l’atelier…
Past: October 16 → December 4, 2010
