La Forest Divonne Gallery — About — Slash Paris

The Galerie La Forest Divonne (formerly Galerie Vieille du Temple) moves to the previous gallery of Albert Loeb at the 12 rue des Beaux-Arts 75006. Also, a second gallery opened in Brussels in February 2016 at 66 rue de l’Hôtel des Monnaies.

Since 1988, Marie Helene de La Forest Divonne stands for artists she believes in — painters, photographers, video artists, sculptors —  with the aim to establish a privileged relationship between them and collectors, institutions and the public. At the beginning of her dedication to the artists there is the conscient idea that they are not so much the reflect of their time, but more their committed witnesses. « What’s important to me is that together, with the gallery, we participate to the creation and the art of our time […] I like this feeling, sharing these fugitive moments, when the strength of a work is so intense that it overwhelms us… »
