Mâkhi Xenakis, Métamorphoses — Kazuo Yuhara, Oxygène naissant
Past: October 10, 2012 → January 15, 2013
Both these artists revive torpid energies, neglected and trivialized materials. Of neither the same sex, nor the same generation nor culture, yet Kazuo Yuhara and Mâkhi Xenakis, aside from sharing the same predilection for working on paper, have the same desire of stimulating the world’s aura with an astonishing economy of means.

Sophie Coroller — Lumière Inside
Past: September 5 → 28, 2012
You have to imagine, throughout the nineteenth century, the hard, grueling, almost suicidal, dedication of a prestigious line of artists who sought, come what may, to create a still elusive material: Light. Their challenge? To no longer compose only with line and color, stone or earth, but with radiance.

Combien ça vaut ?
Past: May 3 → June 27, 2012
What Is It Worth ? therefore gathers, according to very diverse artistic approaches, creators who attack the current economics of art. Humain, trop humain
Past: March 13 → April 28, 2012
Eszter Szabó debunks the diktats of the easy beauty of the glossy magazines and focuses on corrosion and wear, that which inspires absolute revulsion to our modernity, obsessed by the negation of time and permanent renewal. Emphasis and the superfluous are banished from her graphic treatment: the harshness of her characters creates a feeling of Humanity.

Inscape — Gilles Desrozier
Past: January 27 → March 1, 2012
Gilles Desrozier affirms himself as a veritable poet of the contemporary period. Not by his themes, though they correspond for some to what is communally known as poetry, but by his manner of breaking definitions, which is to say reason. Where sound stumbles because the space is transformed to the point of visual paradox, arises the poetic…

Fadia Haddad — Dialogue des masques
Past: October 11 → November 12, 2011
Painting, trace of a poetic reality parallel to this world, a troubling quest for the essential great signs which are at once its truth and that of the Universe, possesses me. Today and always masks leap out at us, speak to us of another realm, distant ancestors, driftwood gods, they carry our history.

A Sudden Wave of Material Culture — Joanna Malinowska
Past: September 7 → 27, 2011
Malinowska explores the world, cultures, and even the absence of culture in the American Mid-West, with a mixture of passion and disquiet. “What I find fascinating about studying other cultures,” she says, “is the feeling of relativity that it gives me, a cosmic relativity which says that nothing is definitive.”

Rosella Bellusci — Fluorescenze
Past: January 21 → February 26, 2011
