Pendant près de dix ans, Juraj Lipscher, a répertorié les établissements qui parlent du corps, de la naissance à la mort. L’homme y est partout et nulle part. Cette typologie de lieux, cliniques de chirurgie esthétique, maternités, salles d’autopsie, font de cette série une topographie remarquable du corps dans la société contemporaine.

Arnold Newman — Portraits et Abstractions

Arnold Newman est considéré comme un pionnier du portrait environnemental. Intégrant dans la même image, le modèle et son œuvre, il a su capturer les images définitives de nombreuses personnalités du XXème siècle. Décédé en 2006 à l’âge de 88 ans, Arnold Newman est devenu très vite célèbre pour ses portraits d’artistes.

L’Amérique des années 80

Disparu en 1988, Bruce Wrighton n’a pas eu le temps de faire connaître son œuvre. Ce travail en couleur, loin d’être nostalgique, nous fait redécouvrir une Amérique des années 80, non pas celle des grands mythes fondateurs mais celle d’une ville moyenne, Binghamton dans l’état de New York, là où Wrighton résidait.
