VU’ Gallery

Galerie VU’ was founded in 1997 on the occasion of the first edition of Paris Photo fair. By rediscovering great names of the history of photography ( such as Gotthard Schuh or Christer Strömholm), by presenting major artists of the contempory photographic scene (Anders Petersen or Bernard Faucon), by introducing new talents (Michael Ackerman or Ester Vonplon), Galerie VU’ has established itself as one of the key actors of photography in Paris. Favoring the diversity of styles, by photographic approaches that priviledge intimacy and contemporary creations.

Galerie VU’ became, by its strong identity and its expectations, a place of convergence for the amateurs devoted to photography, the artists and the collectors. Even if it is a selling place and one of exhibition, Galerie VU’ is also a privileged space for the private collectors or institutions, who will find an exceptional rich collection of more than 4000 photographies.

A place of federation general public, the gallery regularly organizes meetings, signatures or workshops with its photographers.

It also has a photographic bookstore offering a wide range of books, special editions as well as collector’s book of the represented and exhibited artists.
