Grisaille Vertigo
Past: May 14 → July 1, 2023
Grisaille is the title of a painting by Miriam Cahn that was the inspiration for this project. At first glance, it may seem singular for an artist who does not claim to be historically inscribed in her artistic positioning; from memory, I do not know of any other title that references tradition in this artist’s work, …

Elodie Seguin — Peinture Sculpture Peinture
Past: March 11 → April 22, 2017

Hans Schabus — Passager clandestin
Past: September 12 → November 2, 2013
The dictionary states that a stowaway, “passager clandestin” is a passenger, traveling illegally with an airplane, a ship or a train, one who usually keeps himself hidden. Hans Schabus is interested in the term because of its political implication as a fugitive. A stowaway implies hiding as well as moving from one place to another without much outside control.

Valérie Favre — Fragments
Past: September 14 → November 3, 2012

Past: March 22 → May 26, 2012

Past: April 29 → July 2, 2011
For me it was about creating an open (and opened) cinema, meaning one that could be experienced by many and, at the same time, in which the formal principles of cinema would become visible. “Sun Cinema” is composed of three parts: a free standing screen, an amphitheater, and the projector’s triangular base.
