Accrochage des artistes de la galerie

La galerie Catherine Putman présente un accrochage collectif de ses artistes. Les œuvres de 24 d’entre eux sont ainsi réunies dans une exposition libre. Il s’agit de présenter côte à côte une œuvre de chaque artiste, sans thématique particulière, en jouant simplement d’associations formelles, techniques ou chromatiques.

She had a different relationship with each artist, requiring a ‘variable level of intervention’, as she modestly acknowledged, with a constant desire to involve them in the world of prints, and encourage them to create works in their own right.

These objects demonstrate the technological possibilities and constraints characteristic of each period, and reflect the constant changes that have taken place in the history of photography.
