Ken Sortais’s works feed on his report in the city, and more particularly on Saint-Denis where he lives by appropriation of fragments of public place, taken by means of the mold and of the imprint. The basilica Saint-Denis, the street Danielle Casan ova, the breakage of Saint-Ouen or the platform of the canal, the places filled with a history story and with a singular symbolism, become the targets of its interventions.
