Going from the specific to reach the universal, Lyndi Sales explores fundamental structures and symbols through a diversity of cultures and fields of knowledge. The chosen shape, medium and technique carry as much signification as the subject matter. Lyndi Sales’ rhizome-like work embraces very widely to show the impermanence and fragility of fundamental conditions.

Lyndi Sales — Lumière préternaturelle

The works that Lyndi Sales is presenting at the galerie Maria Lund take the shape of sophisticated laser cutouts, on paper and on Plexiglas. They are inspired by reflections on perception, as expressed by Aldous Huxley in “The doors of perception”.

Group Show — Archipel — Archipelago
Past: July 6 → September 1, 2012
Archipelago is a journey through Lyndi Sales’ arid lands and Maria Loizidou’s imaginary landscapes, a stopover in the contemplative field of Lee Jin-Woo and a wandering through Yoon Ji-Eun’s daily living microcosm. It is also an observation of Didier Boussarie’s domestic cacti and Helen Schmitz’ flowers as well as a dive into Catherine’s dreamlike universe.
