In 2014, the French photographer, Yann Datessen, spent five months in Christiania—a former military barracks in Copenhagen—that since 1971 houses an alternative and self-managed community. This trip allowed him to research the people who defend this ’free city’, based on an ideology of anarchy, love, freedom and communalism.
