Five years after Anselm Kiefer’s exhibition for the inauguration of our gallery in Pantin, the gallery, Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac presents a selection of around twenty paintings along with three sculptures, which reflect the sedimentation of memory cherished by the artist.

Kiefer — Rodin

To mark the centenary of the death of Auguste Rodin, the museum will be asserting its programme more strongly than ever in cooperation with contemporary artists and is giving carte blanche to the artist Anselm Kiefer. Installed in the exhibition hall, the exhibition will demonstrate the unusual convergence of these two artists.

Anselm Kiefer — Die Ungeborenen (Les non-nés)

To inaugurate the gallery space at Pantin, Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac is presenting a new series of works by Anselm Kiefer. The title Die Ungeborenen [The Unborn] encompasses a collection of monumental canvases and sculptures, which reference the artist’s interest in the origin and creation of life, referencing well-known myths and iconography.
