Past: December 9, 2021 → January 19, 2022

We Are Open ! — Exposition collective
Past: May 19 → 31, 2021

Past: September 11 → October 31, 2020
Gilles Barbier’s art is simultaneously a word on the tip of the tongue, an idea at the back of the mind, and a chiaroscuro between two intervals of light. For his 12th solo show at the gallery, Barbier has created a series of drawings, the titles of which start with prepositions — Between, inside, behind… — that are making the (art) world think in every direction.

Gilles Barbier — Artist Impression
Past: March 10 → April 22, 2017
The mouth is the entrance giving access to the space-tube and transit areas. I have long been obsessed by these spaces as I detect in them an aspect of our contemporary architecture. In particular that of data transfers: transport, transit of big data in the stomach. But also the architecture of the bodies’ circulation: metal detectors, underground, etc.

Project room : Theo Michael — Arthropodos
Past: March 10 → April 22, 2017
The obsessive drawings depict articulated and overlapping landscapes that are devoid of human figures but intelligent forces are implied. The artificial and the natural are merged and are now inhabited by 2D creatures that seem to have been installed there by a troglodyte that defaced the carefully rendered drawing.

Past: October 24, 2015 → October 24, 2016
The new exhibition of works from the collection explores the relationship between artists and history and its narratives as well as our own relationship as spectator with what has preceded us. Perspective, that which imbues it and constitutes it, is an essential part of this relationship.

Heroes
Past: February 19 → April 2, 2016

Gilles Barbier
Past: September 20 → October 26, 2013
Among the main unexplored terrains, before the cosmos and the oceanic depths, our own inner depths are without doubt the most remote. We are all, to some degree, geometricians, measurers, investigators of it, but only a small delegation is authorised to immerse themselves and dig out a mysterious mud.

Tous Cannibales
Past: February 12 → May 15, 2011
Despite being largely ignored by art critics and theorists, anthropophagy is an underlying theme of current creation. Leaving aside images of gore, Jeanette Zwingenberger has chosen artists, almost half of whom are women, who address the cruelty of anthropophagy from a critical standpoint and with a certain delicacy.
