Nils Guadagnin — Everyday Miracles
Past: March 17 → April 21, 2018

Micky Clement — Ancora vita
Past: February 3 → March 10, 2018

Przemek Pyszczek
Past: October 19 → December 2, 2017
For his first solo exhibition in France, Przemek Pyszczek has produced a corpus of work that addresses his aesthetic and architectural research. Indeed, his bas-relief paintings reuse the same geometry of circles, squares or waves that decorate the balconies of Polish modernist buildings.

Past: September 16 → October 7, 2017
Paint is not innocent. The invention of the tube helped artists to find new impressions by working before landscapes. The invention of the spraycan made it possible to paint directly onto the landscape, and to find new sensations; painting was confronted with the real, with grit, with architecture, with the streets, its blind alleys and forgotten corners.

Past: February 1 → March 4, 2017
"Digital technology is more than an invention, tool, or genre. It is a whole new landscape, a new biology, one that is changing us as much as we are changing it — and could one day live on the moon or inside us. Either way, we are digital’s bitches” — Jerry Saltz (art critic)

Annabelle Arlie — RGB
Past: November 17 → December 17, 2016
It is surprising how Annabelle Arlie’s work, although very materialistic, graphic and plastic, is undoubtedly and foremost a conceptual practice. Conceptual in the way she challenges our contemporary art world’s means of production and broadcasting, locating herself in-between an obsessive isolationism and an extreme connection.

Roman Moriceau — In heaven everything is fine
Past: October 8 → November 12, 2016

Né un 2 juillet — Group Show
Past: July 2 → September 24, 2016

Past: May 19 → June 25, 2016
“Oh, those Greeks! They knew how to live. What is required is to stop courageously at the surface, the fold, the skin, to adore appearance, to believe in forms, tones, words, in the whole Olympus of appearance. Those Greeks were superficial— out of profundity!” — Friedrich Nietzsche

En attendant les choses graves : Fabien Boitard
Past: April 8 → May 14, 2016

Supervoid
Past: October 10 → November 14, 2015
Emptiness is all but empty and the perception that we have of things is necessarily incorrect. By ‘Supervoid’ one should understand a demonstration of the permeability of materials, of the ability offered by elements to reveal themselves differently.

Past: May 6 → 31, 2015

Past: April 2 → May 2, 2015

Past: November 13 → December 20, 2014
Diary features 10 new paintings, created at the Villa Lena Foundation this fall specifically for this occasion. The ten works can be considered as Yanai’s most personal and intimate work to date. “Sad things in happy colors” as he has recently stated. Moments of subtle tragedies, rejection, loneliness, and foreign alienation dominate the show.

Dust
Past: September 11 → October 31, 2014
Roman Moriceau creates connections between the infinitely large and the infinitely small in order to reveal the butterfly effect of our social way of being. From a concerned and humanist perspective, he examines our relationship with images by highlighting dichotomous relationships.

Fabien Boitard — La Lumière est verte
Past: May 28 → July 26, 2014
What are the motivations of a young painter in the early twenty-first century? Almost exactly the same as those which inspired his elders yesterday or the day before yesterday: “What I can see from my window? What I can tell the world?” says Fabien Boitard about what led him to start a canvas.

Unphysical — Nils Guadagnin
Past: March 14 → April 12, 2014

Micky Clément — Les promesses de l’aube
Past: November 28 → December 21, 2013
Micky Clément tracks down the moment where light reveals the close duality of the elements. Happiness and fear, water and the sky, are among the boundaries transgressed by the artist’s lens, tracing the evanescent theatre of shadow and light containing deserted scenes and seeking to recapture dawn up until nightfall.

(Un)governed Spaces in Afghanistan
Past: September 6 → 26, 2013
In this exhibition composed of oil paintings, installation, and handmade books, the artist Gregory Thielker collaborated with anthropologist, Noah Coburn, to create a complex portrait of Afghanistan today. They toured the region without bodyguards or military oversight, and were able to get intimate access to locations and local people surrounding the base. This exhibit is a powerful contrast to the predictable narratives of Afghanistan because it combines anthropology and art to create a layered and open-ended presentation of life amid conflict.

Past: July 11 → 31, 2013
This exhibition, blending sculpture and furniture, is a celebration of elementary structures, which yield a simple functionality through a purely linear aesthetic. Past: June 6 → 25, 2013
Triptyques combines photos from different series so that, such as with an assembly kit, the photos are enriched with new meaning. With each different association of images an unexpected narrative emerges. The artist has sought to illustrate the feeling of letting one’s mind wander from one thought to another, like in a dream.

Remi Noël — Texas
Past: May 16 → June 2, 2013
Though a less-than-stellar student in geography, French photographer Rémi Noël has been obsessed with the “America” of Jack Kerouac, Edward Hopper and Robert Frank since his early school years. And Texas, with its endless highways and fleabag hotels, is the perfect setting for Noël’s playfully poetic tableaux.

Jaïr Sfez — Nubivagus
Past: March 14 → 30, 2013
Jaïr Sfez is constantly seeking to provoke an accident within his images. The optical effects and play on reflections that he uses highlight the contours of his often somber and disturbing style, though always tinged with romanticism and melancholy. By shedding his own hue of light on this nebulous material, the artist reveals to us his hopes and fears.
