Il s’agit de présenter côte à côte une œuvre de chaque artiste, sans thématique particulière, en jouant simplement d’associations formelles, techniques ou chromatiques.

“Our Special Rapport” it was in these terms that Catherine described her unique relationship with the artists. Georg Baselitz — Le côté sombre

Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac Pantin presents a comprehensive exhibition with new monumental sculptures and paintings by the German artist Georg Baselitz. His new bronzes include Sing Sang Zero, a standing couple with arms interlinked, and three fetishistic sculptures — Marokkaner, Yellow Song, Louise Fuller — showing a humanoid figure enclosed in rings.

Georg Baselitz — xylographies (Remix)

The Catherine Putman Gallery, French publisher of Georg Baselitz since 1997, is to unveil a new original series of 6 xylographies, each of which consisting of 6 variations. Georg Baselitz’s first solo exhibition, held at the Werner & Katz Gallery in Berlin in 1963, provoked such an outrage that some of his paintings were confiscated on ground of public indecency.
