I call you from the Crossroads — Exposition personnelle d’Abel Techer
Past: February 6 → April 25, 2020
Cheveux rasés, Abel Techer fait de son corps un objet, un mannequin en plastique qu’il habille, déshabille, accessorise et maquille sans relâche. Un corps imberbe, sans âge et sans contexte.

Please leave this world — Commissaire d’exposition : Rolando J. Carmona.
Past: November 14, 2019 → February 1, 2020
A frail woman runs, desperately trying to escape the army tank advancing towards her. We cannot flee the unbearable; it persecutes us, it is our shadow. This disturbing moment is the work of Regina José Galindo. She confronts us with our most intimate relationship to power, as she does herself, the artist, seeking to …

My body ≠ Ta chose
Past: September 5 → October 26, 2019

Past: April 4 → May 25, 2019
A green ray, or flash, is an atmospheric phenomenon, an illusion produced by a variance in the perception of the horizon and the earth’s curve. At dawn or dusk a green ray forms above the upper rim of the solar disk as it rises or sets. The rarity of its appearance make it a metaphor for the horizon as promise.

Monochrome-moi — Solo show de Jean-François Boclé
Past: September 6 → November 17, 2018
In Monochrome-moi (Monochrome Me), Jean-François Boclé creates what one might describe as a system of black boxes, or, more specifically, a series of opaque hotbeds of power that operate continuously within the element of history. Boclé revisits the legal-political treaties, the strategic alliances that configured t…

Absence
For a long time I thought absence a lack
And, in my ignorance, I mourned this lack.
Today, I no longer mourn it.
There is no lack in absence.
Absence is a presence in me.
And I feel it, white, so tight, snuggled in my arms,
That I laugh and dance and invent joyful exclamations,
Because abse…

Le monde est en panne d’une pensée pour le monde
Past: September 16 → November 12, 2016
The world is disillusioned. This is not about adopting a romantic and nostalgic position of a lost Golden Age, but to interpret this world through the lens of a history combining dramas, conflicts, wars and that seems to absorb our civilisation in the vortex of the chaos.

Thierry Cauwet — Tableaux vivants
Past: June 8 → July 15, 2016
In a way, performance art, conveyed by video, has been one of the last vestiges of the ready-made: putting a real body in place of the represented figure, Thierry Cauwet started from this observation, that there in fact wasn’t a worse illusion than this reality.

Mademoiselle — Solo Show d’Agata Kus
Past: April 14 → June 4, 2016
Kus primarily paints people, consistently with the current triumphant return to this classic type of figurativeness. Her trademark use of multiple narratives within a single composition allows a multi-faceted reading of the painting as individual themes or a synthesis of them all, resulting in new meanings.

Past: September 17 → October 25, 2015
The journey ‘l’enthousiasme’ is a project which is gradually established in a castaway’s notebook, a survivor of the ruin which has become broken vessel, resistant to damage and collapse, to which I have become strongly attached, perhaps as a metaphor of our time.
