Paris Gallery Weekend — Édition 2019
Past: May 17 → 19, 2019
Over the course of its 5 previous editions, Paris Gallery Weekend marked itself as the Springtime “rendez-vous” for Paris and its art scene. The 6th edition of Paris Gallery Weekend will take place from Friday 17 May to Sunday 19 May 2019 and 48 galleries have already confirmed their participation so far (see list below).

World-wide famous, the shanghaiese artist Maleonn shows for the first time in Paris his “Studio Mobile” series which is the result of his journey through the whole China in 2012. This exhibition gives a true picture of the society at a given time, in all its diversity, full of excitement between photographs from another time.

He explores the history of a place and its evolutions and seeks to give a new face to the urban landscape which he makes the most of it like a field of popular inspirations.

Piles of products labeled “Made in China” are stacked up to produce quite unusual sculptures, symbols of the Chineses’ a ever increasing fetish with objects.
