Paris Gallery Weekend — Édition 2019

Over the course of its 5 previous editions, Paris Gallery Weekend marked itself as the Springtime “rendez-vous” for Paris and its art scene. The 6th edition of Paris Gallery Weekend will take place from Friday 17 May to Sunday 19 May 2019 and 48 galleries have already confirmed their participation so far (see list below).

Abdul Rahman Katanani — Sculptures : Hard Core

Maleonn — Studio mobile

World-wide famous, the shanghaiese artist Maleonn shows for the first time in Paris his “Studio Mobile” series which is the result of his journey through the whole China in 2012. Black & White

Wang Keping & Ma Desheng — Xing Xing

Les Bains / Résidence d’artistes — Photo Show

Cette exposition des photographies de Stéphane Bisseuil et Jérôme Coton retrace la résidence d’artistes éphémère des Bains et le travail réalisé alors par 50 artistes. De janvier à avril 2013, les artistes ont investi les 3000 m² de ce mythique immeuble datant de 1885. Seuls autorisés à pénétrer cet antre et rejoindre…

Vhils — Entropie

Entropie is the first solo show of the artist Vhils in France. He questions the idea of icon, giving again a dominating place to the anonymous who makes the identity of a city. Gaël Davrinche solo show

Paris Forever — La 100ème exposition de la galerie

Julian Schnabel — Polaroïds

Shadows and reflections

Alain Delorme — Totems
Past: September 4 → 25, 2010
Alain Delorme work is the result of two residencies in Shanghai, supported by the Ailing Foundation. It shows the photographer’s fascination for migrants’ pressures. Piles of products labeled “Made in China” are stacked up to produce quite unusual sculptures, symbols of the Chineses’ a ever increasing fetish with objects.
