Sarah Jérôme — Tempus Fugit
Past: March 16 → April 27, 2019
Here, a horde of feet and legs wearing half-slips tread upon a wooden floor covered in red and pink flowers. The anonymous figures seem caught in a cheerful race, an audacious escape. Over there, men in costumes carry two women in the air. Of these faceless characters that populate the Fugue series, we will know nothing.

Lucy Glendinning — Only Human
Past: May 12 → June 23, 2018
Lucy Glendinning’s art stages the intrusion of fantastic within our everyday life, illustrating with brio the notion of uncanny conceptualized by Freud in 1919. Her half-animal half-human figures, somewhere between mythological stories and transhumanist experimentations, allow her to express her own epistemological and philosophical interrogations as for man’s place in nature.

MacKeldey renews the genre of portrait painting with audacity. Far from trying to produce bland or idealized artworks, he shuns tradition with pictorial gestures and experimentation with materials.
