Artaïs Art contemporain — Exposition vente

Exposition-vente d’éditions pour promouvoir et soutenir les artistes émergents du 12 au 14 janvier 2024 à la Galerie Dix9. A l’occasion de cette 3e édition, l’association Artaïs poursuit son action de soutien aux artistes sans galerie en invitant quatorze jeunes artistes à présenter des œuvres originales en série limitée avec sculptures, objets, sérigraphies, gravures et photographies.

Paris Photo 2015 — Rendez-vous les 28 et 29 novembre dans les galeries parisiennes

Sebastian Riemer — Spolia, une nouvelle photographie

Spolia (from Latin) or reused, means the reuse of old monuments elements as building materials in a new building. Commonly practiced in the late Roman Empire, this approach is similar to that of Sebastian Riemer, who throughout his photographic work, is constantly extracting topics from their original context to insert them into a new framework.

Géométrie de la nature humaine : Catalin Petrisor

Trained at the famous school of painting of Cluj-Napoca in Romania, Catalin Petrisor is characterized by a very peculiar practice of his art. Based on compositions performed on computer using photographs from scattered universe, he paints pictures of a strange world, fed by a fiction that leaves the door open to multiple interpretations.

Rado Groupe — Le bouc chantait (Tragédie)

Rado est un sigle à signification variable. Les deux premières lettres désignent la recherche et l’art ; les deux suivantes s’adaptent aux circonstances et aux désirs de ceux qui associent leurs noms sous ces quatre lettres. Cette mobilité rappelle celle des « troncs de bois reliés de manière assez lâche » évoqués par Fernand Deligny.

Yuan Yanwu a retrouvé des petites photos jaunies de son enfance alors qu’elle vivait avec ses grands parents maternels à Shanghai. Elle a deux, cinq, neuf, treize, quatorze, quinze ou seize ans. Moment de redécouverte de soi, comme dans le miroir où, petite fille, elle se regardait en cachette, grimpée sur un petit tabouret.

Sheila Concari — She Wolf
