Ethan Murrow — The Grand Theft
Past: February 2 → March 30, 2019
"This series grows out of a constant conversation within my process around appropriation. I frequently use bits and pieces of other artworks, objects and images combined with imagery I develop and shoot in the studio. Stitching and blending are embedded into every drawing, meaning each image is a kind of mash up.

Eidetik — Exposition Collective
Past: April 19 → June 9, 2018

Ethan Murrow — Hankering for the Past
Past: December 17, 2015 → January 20, 2016
I grew up in the very rural and small state of Vermont in the northeast region of the United States. A shortening from the french vert de montagne, it is a place renowned for its picture perfect farmland, lush forest and quaint towns. People often swoon over the State and assume it is glorious because it appears like “it used to”.

Past: November 12 → December 12, 2015

Just like researchers in fundamental physics, they explore in a radical way how the photographic medium still contains mysteries and opportunities to build our relationship to reality.

Past: October 10 → November 7, 2015
It is via marble that François Chaillou came to the subject. Trained in Carrare, he studied sculpture in the same place where the stone is extracted. Three lessons were to be key for him. First, the hardiness of sculpture: to work with stone is to carve in the mountains is take on boulders.
