Guillaume Constantin — L’accident des formes
Past: June 14 → July 26, 2014
Guillaume Constantin is undeniably a sculptor. He is a sculptor in the sense that his whole work questions the plasticity of things — objects as well as concepts, that is to say the way they can receive and absorb the “shape’s accidents”.

Past: November 28 → December 30, 2013
Ceramics is an ancestral technique which bears in itself the child’s pleasure of playing with clay, and the more concluding pleasure of creating a perfect form which resists to the crucible of the firing. Both an amateur and a pro, Thomas Mailaender empowers himself with a sound technical mastery.

Empty lines
Past: September 12 → October 19, 2013
The exhibited works show their uniqueness in their ability of making themselves visible and having their own existence. The hyphenated repertoire of the artists — painting-sculpture for Rana, sculpture-design for Nathaniael, and sculpture-architecture as for Paul revitalize the idea of a crossing, of a given hand to movement, reaching the corners of space.

Patrick Bernatchez — Fraction II
Past: November 10 → December 15, 2012
A horse and black rider advance and turn circles in a blizzard. Slowly moving into visibility, the couple seems to belong to an indeterminable period. Is this an errant rider of the apocalypse, a lost 20th century explorer, a future wanderer on a barren planet? No way to know, for these figures are fundamentally anachronistic, born of a time out of joint.

Déduction — Jean-François Leroy
Past: September 8 → October 25, 2012
Jean-François Leroy begins with the plane. What we call a “plane” in geometry is a two-dimensional space that can stretch out infinitely and has no theoretical thickness. For Jean-François Leroy, the wood is used as a common and convenient material, rather than for its possible connotations. It has only one meaning: “the plane”.

Brainbow, une proposition de Bertrand Grimont et Le Châlet
Past: May 30 → July 13, 2012
What is extraordinary about neurones is that they are essentials to us and yet go beyond our senses. The Brainbow imagery system makes neuronal connections visible : they appear as pixels, color dots that nothing but piling up and looking from a distance can reveal as a consistent whole.

Grégory Derenne — Sunlights
Past: May 12 → June 7, 2012
The subtle contrast between light and dark gives birth to chiaroscuro.
In order to capture these subtleties, Grégory Derenne slips backstage on TV sets and steps into churches. Investing in these sites as if they were pictoral subjects, he plays with the intensity of light to reveal or not their intrinsic elements.

Hughes Rochette & Nathalie Brevet — Le temps d’après
Past: March 10 → April 28, 2012
Common in both natural and urban environments, the debris is the notion around which Nathalie Brevet and Hughes Rochette have based their exhibit. Its title is emblematic of their approach : in their scavenging, the two artists collected and chose objects that have come to the end of their functional life, but begin the fictional part of it, as a shape.

Cyril Hatt & Bertrand Planes — Révélations
Past: January 8 → February 26, 2011
The world is filled with objects of desire that quickly vanish before our eyes. Eaten away by the banality of use, they become transparent. Consumer goods embeded in the everyday life, they pass from one state to the other before being discarded. Their loud presence dwindles into a white noise.

Vilnius, Odessa, Liège
Past: November 6 → December 31, 2010
Between the realms of news reporting and personal work, Thomas Manneke threads within their very dividing line. The artist grabs the city’s heart: its official and less official architecture, its young or older dwellers and anything that happens between those. The photographer captures reality, the backstreets as much as the historical and grandiloquent monuments.

D’une chose, l’autre
Past: September 18 → October 30, 2010
Any piece shown here is novel, a recent work as they say, but at the same time it’s not new. This warning borders on the absurd, but it’s truly around the overpowering expectation of novelty and the paradoxical belief that what is new is necessarily original, that Jean-François Leroy has worked towards this exhibition.

Théorème
Past: June 9 → July 31, 2010

Aï Kitahara — When a place is moving
Past: March 27 → May 22, 2010
