Michel Aubry — The Searchers

Séances is a new addition to the Conatus series that Achour began back in 2006. Plunged in partial darkness, a range of elements form a setting/ landscape that visitors are meant to wander around for 45 minutes. Au Crédac, l’artiste expose ses dernières œuvres. Le spray fluo cède la place à la large brosse et aux couleurs comme le bleu ou encore plus simplement le blanc. L’instabilité et la volatilité du spray sont échangées contre l’épaisseur de la peinture. Les interventions murales cèdent du terrain au retour de la toile sur châssis.
