In the 1980s, the minitel has been developed by the French administration of Postal services and Telecommunication (PTT) and was used before being replaced by the Internet. This service, similar to our chat rooms, marks the minds through its adult contents, called “minitel rose”. Bazile takes photographs of these billboards and glues them together in notebooks.

Something in a box — and some other things in boxes

Something in a box is a limited edition of 24 signed and numbered copies of Robert Barry. It consists of a box made of walnut wood, containing 62 index cards. Claude Closky — Inside a Triangle

Unlike a road movie, there is no drive and unlike Richard Long’s work, there is no walk. With “Inside a Triangle”, one is teleported to a new path in a new country with every turn of the page. Claude Closky’s artist’s book contains 100 photographs of roads, lanes, trails, sidewalks, and pathways taken around the world.
