Les Univers d’Anna-Eva Bergamn

Anna-Eva Bergman has been in a life-long quest of the Absolute through her minimalist landscapes, transcended by the silver beam of the Norwegian light. These landscapes have reached a cosmic dimension with the series “Planets” started in the 1950s by the artist and achieving their pinnacle in 1969, as Bergman’s fascination for the space conquest grew with the Man’s first steps on the moon.

Kapwani Kiwanga — Surface Tensions

Yona Friedman — FIAC on site

Maxime Bondu — Information Quantique

For his second exhibition, Maxime Bondu enrols in the quest for the Italian physicist Ettore Majorana, mysteriously disappeared in 1938 between Naples and Palermo. Inspired by the notions of quantum mechanics such as information, superposition or the double, a new set of works is exhibited by intuitively juxtaposing merchant ships, masks, vortexes and cigarettes.

Vittorio Santoro — C’était le contraire d’un voyage

Lorsque, avec un lyrisme inhabituel, Claude Lévi-Strauss décrit dans « Tristes Tropiques », un coucher de soleil auquel il a assisté à bord du navire « Mendoza » entre Marseille et le Brésil dans les années 30, il inaugure en même temps toute une réflexion sur l’observation. Il y raconte comment cette expérience fut en fait le contraire d’un voyage.

Bertrand Lamarche — Looping

The exhibition is mainly made up of an installation. This new work constitutes an additional stage in the development of the artist’s fictitious cabaret. The obsessive voice of Kate Bush, that listeners could have heard on the Palais de Tokyo “repondeur”, sets a rhythm to the perpetual movement of an anamorphic mirror driven by a record turntable.
